Enum DataModel

  • All Implemented Interfaces:
    Serializable, Comparable<DataModel>

    public enum DataModel
    extends Enum<DataModel>
    Enumerates categories of data models and determines the current data model. This is needed for jne/jna-applications, not when used with pure jave.
    • Enum Constant Detail

      • Bits64

        public static final DataModel Bits64
        Represents a data model known to be based on 64-bit entities.
      • Bits32

        public static final DataModel Bits32
        Represents a data model known to be based on 32-bit entities.
      • Unknown

        public static final DataModel Unknown
        Represents a data model with unknown number of bits or data model representable neither by Bits64 nor by Bits32.

      • DataModel

        private DataModel(String code)
    • Method Detail

      • values

        public static DataModel[] values()
        Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:
        for (DataModel c : DataModel.values())
            System.out.println(c);

        Returns:
        an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared
      • valueOf

        public static DataModel valueOf(String name)
        Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
        Parameters:
        name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
        Returns:
        the enum constant with the specified name
        Throws:
        IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name
        NullPointerException - if the argument is null
      • getDataModel

        public static DataModel getDataModel(boolean retNull)
        Returns the current data model. If there is no valid data model, (not even Unknown), then null is returned if retNull is set. Otherwise an exception is thrown.
        Parameters:
        retNull - whether null is returned if the data model is invalid.
        Throws:
        IllegalStateException - if the data model is unknown and retNull is not set.
      • getCode

        public String getCode()
      • isKnown

        public boolean isKnown()
        Returns true except for Unknown.
